I absolutely loved the way the cottage was decorated at Grooms Lodge. The blend of old and new was simply amazing. It felt so fresh and modern, yet still had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were beautifully designed, and I especially appreciated that they weren't cluttered with unnecessary decorations. As a senior, I found the accessibility of the cottage to be excellent. The multiple levels of the cottage allowed for easy movement and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms were also great and had everything I needed. the attention to detail in the design and amenities made for a stress-free and enjoyable stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be the addition of a microwave in the cottage. Sometimes, it's nice to have a quick and convenient way to heat up meals without needing the help of the children working there.

The room at Grooms Lodge was absolutely stunning! It had a cozy and welcoming vibe, with a beautiful patio where we could relax and enjoy the fresh air. The kettle was a nice touch, perfect for brewing a cup of tea after a long day of exploring. The two bathrooms with spacious showers and free toiletries were a bonus!
The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the size of the shower. It was a bit on the smaller side for my liking.
